car is a 94 civic ex, just stoped starting, when cranking if you look at the top of the dist you can see a spark going across the top starting at the ignitor tip inside, or whatever the spring is, and theres no cracks or anything in the cover, but you can see the spark, is the whole thing bad? or does it just need a new rotor maybe?

try getting a new cap...there might be something that the spark is traveling thru since u can see the spark

well if its sparking there then there is something wrong inside, try a new cap and rotor.
