Default Spark plug wires wont stay connected?!?

I am not quite sure what this issue is and I was wondering if someone can suggest why this is happing and how to fix my problem.

What is happening is that my spark plug wires will not stay connected to my plugs - they dont stay down attached to the valve cover...

I am not sure what is causing this but the plug that is closest to the disty and one closest to the timing belt are the ones affected.

I have even heard them POP off while I am driving - it sounds like a champagne bottle opening up!!!

The air pressure coming from the engine is forcing them off - what could be causing this??

thanks!

tighten your spark plugs, i'm guessing 2 of them are pretty loose.

Are you using the correct ignition wire for your engine?

what kind of wires are they? are they new? are they oem?

if they haven't been changed in a while my first suggestion would buy some new ones. Either OEM (if you don't really plan on modding) or NGK blue wires (usually around $50).
if they are oem or they are fairly new, you can always bend the tab at the end of the wire "slightly" with some needle nose pliers to get them to seat tighter. just don't go crazy because you want them to seat on top of the plug all the way around (don't really want a flat spot on the connector of the wire)

**you might want to take the plugs out and see if there is any oil or blowoff on the outside of the plug.. there shouldn't be any pressure in there if your gasket is good (valve cover gasket or the actual spark plug gasket). or like someone previously mentioned make sure the plugs are tight

I am using MSD ignition wires and IR16 iridium plugs. I am going go to thr dealer to get the ZFR5J-11 plugs today and hopefully that will fix the problem. The iridium plugs were pretrty burned up too with a lot of carbon buildup...

There is no oil on the outside of the plugs - they were very dry...
Maybe the spark plug gaskets are bad - those would be on the underside of the valve cover right?

It is definitely a pressure leak somewhere that is poping them off... I am sure that the plugs are in there tight and seated right...I just dont wanna overtighten them.

I got the new plugs and it seems to run a lot better. I made sure to securely tighten them all the way down and it appears that fixed the problem.
