whats your compression ratio?

I'd leave it at stock gap or maybe a little smaller at .40-.42

Pull your intake air temperature sensor out of your intake manifold or your intake & ensure that the tip of the sensor is not melted.

I have seen several people improperly wire up there vehicles causing a IAT sensor to melt and report very low iat temps causing the vehicle to run rich.

A common mistake is to burn q31 on the ecu by mixing up the 2 wire plugs on the engine harness!
(Intake air temperature sensor should be a green wire & red/yellow stripe wire.)

my hatch was doing the samehting till i changed the spark plugs, still did it then i noticed that the CEL code was for the map sensor i looked and the strut bar was hitting it and casued it to shave off the lip it had for the clip to attach to so i just zip tied the plug to the map sensor haha.
