Default spark plug mod..

is it true if you put your sparkplugs in with the gaps all facing the intake or to the front of the block it will give you a couple horses?

I don't see how. ignition occurs towards the end of compression cycle.

this is called indexing spark plugs.... good for 1-2% of your power...so no...it wont really do anything on a motor that doesnt really make any power

i have seen almost 30hp, before it was at like 649,after indexing spark plugs it was at like 674. i say do it for the extra hp.

I have never seen this before. It will only work with a standard pug however if you are running plugs like platinum plus 4 with mult electrodes it will not make any difference

you cant actually index the plugs w/out washers, and believe me it doesnt do much if anything for power. HOWEVER, indexing them away from the intake charge will keep them from building up carbon which will in turn make them last longer.

That's my hunch. Even so, 2% of 649 is about 13, which is typically the absolute most you'll gain.

Unless you're competitively racing your car and need every single last bit of power out of your engine, it's not worth it. There isn't a "right" way to index plugs, anyway. A lot depends on the combustion chamber and piston design, so you'll need dyno time to make sure you're actually making progress.
