which spark plug to choose? (98 Civic EX)
yeah, this might seem like a dump question, but oh well....
I am wanting get a set of spark plugs to replace my 70,000 mile old set, and with all the different ones I can find on the net I want some advice on what to choose.
I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX (Engine D16Y8 I think), I need 4 plugs, right? I have NO performance upgrades, it is a stock engine, but I would still rather have something better than OEM if it will improve my gas mileage (even if only slightly the small investment is worth it to me), and if in some way it improves performance, all the better.
I find a couple of options on ebay:
Denso iridiums for $45
NGK iridiums for $25
Generic iridiums for $20
and also on another site:
NGK ZFR5F-11 for $4 each
Denso KJ16CR-L11 for $4 each
NGK PZFR5F-11 for $17 each
Very much ranging in price here, although the same brands... which one is right for a stock engine/engine treatment, that will keep or improve milage/performance while also keeping my wallet happy?
Thanks for any help guys

I would go with the regular NGK. I use them in my 97 civic Hx. I bought denso iridiums but I think I wasted my money. NGK would probably be the the best ones to get. I really felt no difference between NGK and Denso. I would have to dyno my car to see the difference. NGK v power.

Re: which spark plug to choose? (blindbug)
Just stick with OEM plugs, and yeah, you'll need four of them. The Y8 comes with NGK ZFR5F-11s from the factory, so use those.
