Nice pics!

What I did was similar to that, but I did NOT use sidemounts. I bolted an aluminum bar 1/2"x2" long enough to reach between the seats, as he did with that angle stock. one in front, one in back, spaced far enough to locate the seat on its bottom mount holes. then I bolted the seat bottom to these bars. That keeps the seat as low as possible using stock sliders. HTH

I bought the Sparco "Civic/Integra" bracket/slider, and they bolted into my 96 hatch with no modifications. It's very hit and miss. I've sold brackets/sliders to a friend with a 94 Teg RS, and it wouldn't fit. However, I sold them to a customer with a 99 GS-R, and they bolted in perfectly.

if you use the stock sliders does that keep the seat low enough. I am sure i can rig somethign up but i am just looking for ideas right now.
these were what i was thinking of buying and rigging up but now that i look at it i might be able to use the stocks

I used a variety of different mounts in my car before I decided on this. My problem with the Sparco base (other than the fact that it costs $50 for something any meathead could make) was that you couldn't not adjust it. The slider pictured above, also from Sparco, is NOT made for their side mount seats and will not work properly, so that was no good for me either. Plus, it's another $50 or so. In the end, I paid $10 for a pair of thrashed EG seats and another $10 for the aluminum and I had mounts for both seats.
The height wasn't too great, but it was lower or equal to the stock ITR seats. My helmet just barely brushed the visor in the full front position, and I had plenty of room if I slid it back a little. I'm 6'1".

I've had two sets of Sparco's so far. A set in my hatch and a set in my Integra. I used the Sparco brackets and slider's since they were included when I bought them. They are alright, but in both car's the back right bracket (part next to center console) never lined up right. When you bend the bracket to fit it, it tilts the seat a little bit. But that's just my experience, I would just rig up a bracket to fit instead of spending so much on the Sparco ones.

Hey, the way I mounted mine got the Sparco seat a tad lower than stock civic height, but what was important to me was that it sat no higher.

I wish I could get it lower like an inch lower, but that will require welding the sliders right to the floor/supports or redesigning the slider legs.

Maybe over the winter I will have a brainstorm..... riiiiiiight
