Sparco Seat Question
Ok im trading some wheels for a sparco Pro2000 seat... but the seat is in a 96-98 style civic coupe... i have a 92-95 coupe.... well anyways i was wondering if i could use my stock sliders on the base mount for the sparco... sparcos website says that their universal base mount can be used when stock sliders are availiable or something.. i guess my question is will this work without me buying anything?
im pretty sure the seat has the universal base mount on it

Re: Sparco Seat Question (JDM EJ1 95)
When I had my Corbeau, it had one peice base/bracket/slider assembly that bolted to the bottom of the seat. I'm not positive how the Sparco is, but if it's a bottom mount seat like the Corbeau, there's no way you can use the stock sliders without a LOT of custom welding.

Strange. I'd like to see a picture of the rail/slider assembly for it.

Re: Sparco Seat Question (JDM EJ1 95)
For use when original sliders can be removed from the seat. Also allows height adjustment.
(im not sure if this is what it has on it but its just an option..)
If it does have a vehicle specific mount on it would the 96-98 civic mount wrok with my 95 civic?

You buy a seat bracket for your car, then universal sliding rails if you want them, and usually the adjustable side mounts, as well.
Seat sat pretty high in my car. Blah.

Re: (sans)
Ok let me clear this up. I ahve a Sparco Fighter. Similar to your Pro2000
Pro2000
Fighter
Now my fighter seat has bottom mounts. Meaning the seat bolts from the bottom. From what i could find out it seems the Pro2000 has both bottom and side mounting positions. THis is good. You DO NOT need side mounts. It will only make your seat taller not lower.
Ok there are two things you need to buy. NO, stock EG brackets and sliders will NOT work. You need to get a Sparco Mount Base for your year car. Do not get the ones with the tubes they suck. There is a newer one made of laser cut metal. Really flat really low. Then you need the Sparco Sliders. These run about 150 all together. The base will bolt down to your car (jsut like your old brackets) then the sliders bolt onto that. and the seat is bolted on to the sliders. OF course this is not how you assemble it. You need to bolt everything onto the seat first.
Here is a pic of the bracket and slider on my knockoff recaro

Correct.
EG and EK used different base bracket designs.

Re: (JDM EJ1 95)
3/4 bolts will bolt down (i think). if the eg rails are anything like the del sol, only 3/4 bolts bolted up for me, so i swapped the rails. i beileve at least he'd be able to drive home with 3/4 bolts, dunno bout your sparco.

Ok uh what this guy can do is (if he still has his stock seat) swap the STOCK EK rails onto the seat in your EG. The Sparco will not fit onto any honda seat.
