sound proofing
does anybody know the easiest way to take that tar strip off the floor board of the car. located under the main carpet of the whole car, correct me if i am wrong i dont know if it is soud proofing or not thanks!

thanks for the tip , so how does this work the ice just freezes it then bust it with the chisel. also does this shave off a few pounds off the car?

Indeed. I believe there was a write up on someone lightening their Hatch. He showed the way he used the dry ice and chisel method. Came out really good. Search on Archived, might find it.
