Default Sound deadening writeup?

Hey guys I have been looking through the forums for an hour now and havent been able to find a writeup on this.

Has anyone done a writeup on sound deadening. Im looking for pictures of the process and what materials work best/ give the best results. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Take a look at this guys website:
www.sounddeadenershowdown.com

I have not purchased any of their products but the information is convincing. He emphasizes using less CLD tiles (ie.. Dynomat, Hushmat, Peel & Seal). However says to use Mass Loaded Vinyl in conjunction with CLD tiles.

Personally I'm not convinced "plastering" large areas inside of a car with Dynamat or Peel n Seal is the best answer. Seems like everyone and their brother overdoes it (with only so-so results).

Read the guys info on the website...
