Default Sould I replaced this belt?

Well my car has a lilttle over 60K miles and i'm pretty sure the previous owner didn't replaced any belts and i was looking at some of them and i found one of them like this
Is that normal?

that's were the manufacture connected the the ends together to make the belt. some have it some don't all depends on the manufacture. check the other side of the belt for cracks, if it looks like theres none don't replace.

check for cracks, if not, u ll cool.
i just replaced all the belts on my car 90k

it looks good but with 60k on it and winter coming up I would probably replace it. they cost 10-20 bucks and it's easier to do when the temp is not cold but you live in CA so no big temp drop there. On the other hand when I buy a new (used) car I trnd to go through and replace most of what I can ovew the first one or two months and write down when and mil. when it was done. I find this saves a lot of guessing/time when the **** does break out of the blue and everything is fresh and you know it was done right. Plus you get to work on your car and get to know it better. Thats all my 2 cents. Have fun with it any big plans?
