Sorry but... Exhaust questions. {PIC}
So I'm planning on replacing/upgrading the exhaust on my Si. I currently have an uninstalled DC Sports 4-1 header, and plan on purchasing the Apex World Sport 2. Now I just need to know what to put in the middle. As I see it, here are my options:
I have my own list of pros and cons, but I wanna see what other people say. Also, I live in PA, so it needs to pass emissions (but not visual, I got that covered).
Pic for attention.
- High Flow Cat
- Test Pipe

I prefer with Cat, high flow doesn't affect much performance or sound wise (a little but minimal) and it makes life easier to pass emissions.
Then again, I don't have air care for another year but my car blowing smoke now is bugging me a lot, so that should give you where I'm coming from and what my opinion is.

Metallic converters will not work much past the first inspection due to the inferior catalyst, do so at your own risk.
If you want power, there are easier ways of achieving those goals.
You'd be surprised how far a coat is decent paint will go at an inspection station. If you go in there rice-a-roni style, expect to be hassled.
