Sooo Hot. Need AC.
First Off, I have a 92 CX that has never had AC (no button on the climate control for it).
Second: My friend has a 94 LX and is taking out his AC and will give everything to me for free.
Third: How hard is it to put in? EXACTLY what do i need? I have heard there is something with the vents under the dash, that I need? Anyone know? Thanks for your help.

HAHAHAHA! I live in Palm Springs gets over 120 here and I roll with no AC! IT BLOWS!!! I leave to work wearing another set of clothes, and change when I get there. As for AC, i'm looking for a DIY cuz I have everything to install it too.

Re: Sooo Hot. Need AC. (UnrealSpeed)
installing ac is simple, everything bolts up. Install compressor to ac bracket, install condensor, run the lines to the evaporator and thats basically it

Re: Sooo Hot. Need AC. (UnrealSpeed)
installing a/c isnt very difficult...i did it on an ek...you just need all the parts and the fuses...check your fuse box and see what fuse is missing and since your friend is taking his out you can just use his ( sorry i forgot which fuse you need). Then you just need all the parts, a/c condensor, evaporator, all the lines, the little freon reservoir.
After all you got all the parts, everything should bolt right up...the belt for the a/c can be a little tricky, on the ek we just took off the lil mount where the condensor goes and slid the belt around...
Any question feel free to pm me. im sure ek and eg set is very simiilar....If i missed anything please add

Re: Sooo Hot. Need AC. (aNothA civiC)
My cx aint got no a/c , ive done some reaserch(for once in my life )and i checked out my hatch and its all pre-wired for a/c .I currently got b16 in my car, so its got the braket and pulley already for a/c. only thing u need is i think a b series compressor, and everything else from a 92-95 civic. As for under the dash u need the evaporater, just trade someone who dont want their a/c for your current evaporater, blocker, whatever its called. as for a how-to site ive found this to be the best site(http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/.../17204_01.html), its for a del sol but everything should be pretty much straight forward
