ok, so I'm driving today, and I bring my car to 6k rpm and I hear something like rocks hitting my exhaust pipe. Now it could be rocks hitting the bottom of my car, because there was construction in the area, but just to be safe, what could this be? I mean, 6k rpm isnt too much for a d16y8 with 147,xxx miles on it, right? Am I worrying too much? It ran fine after that, I also parked it in the parking lot, and after about 20-25 minutes I started it back up again, and it seemed fine. Thanks for youre help, appreciate it.

Probably just gravel, let us know if it does it again. Could be detonation

yea, well, I wasn't sure, and could it be carbon build up? It sounded like it came from the front, then went to the back, not 100% sure tho. Scared the crap out of me. Once again, thanks for the quick responses
