someone messed with my baby EK
soooooooooo i went to my babyhatch this morning to disarm him and the chirp didn't sound normal (you know the chirp equated with 'my alarm went off'), I got into my car and nothing was missing. No damage on the door *****.
But someone took my club off (I usually put it on the "other side" of the steering wheel. I found it dangling from the steering wheel?? Go figure.
may be i shouldn't park on the street anymore.
Just had to share.

Thats really odd. No damage at all? nothing missing for sure? just to be safe..you should keep a watch over your car for a while..cause they might come back..hopefully they wont.

that's one thing i forgot to notice - if my car was locked or not after i disarmed. i was just in awe when i saw my club dangling. everything is in tact so far.
yes, i'm very lucky thank god! but i can't help but think, my car is a sitting duck.
this happened across the street from my apartment building and it's a really quiet area. i was at neighbor's unit last night and i found out today that people heard a car alarm go off (i didn't hear it cuz i drank too much wine)...to think i can see my car when i pop my head outside my neighbors door...crazy!

oh goodness, I WISH!
it's kinda sad, one of my friend's hatchback got stolen from his car port up the street sometime last year and he had invested i think 20K into his hatch.
uuurgh! it's soooooo messed up!

maybe there messing with you before they actually steal it....before they broke into my brothers car they would steal parts of it(emblems,corner lens, etc.) he never really thought anything of it but everything was getting jacked in front of my house.
better have a few kill swithces, dont leave any good stuff in your car

oh goodness gracious! i decided to give my babyhatch a forced vacation - so i left him at his grandmas (i.e my mom's house) for a little bit for him to recover...so i have to drive his baby brother. (they tend to fight over the carport!)
now i'm chicken park to him outside on the street......ever! how annoying!

I'd be reluctant to talk about what u plan to do here on the boards.. Been plenty of cases over the years involving cars and enthusiast message boards..
I'm glad everything's okay.. If u need help on what to do in regards to car security, email me up.. We have to get together anyway to take care of that thing, we could discuss it then..

You've been given a second chance. It wouldn't be a bad idea at this point to prepare for the worst, be it a different parking location, louder alarm siren, or maybe an Autolock.
