someone answer for good! haha
okay, i searched like 4 different sites asking about sideskirts... 98 sideskirts to go on my 95 DX coupe... i get different answers everywhere...
i have someone who will sell me the 96-00 side skirts (EK) from a hatchback, I wanted to know if these are the same as the 96-00 coupes, and if they are the right ones to buy to modify to put onto my car... he has some of the clips, can i get the rest of them from honda? I trashed my stock 95 sides and clips when i put on this god awful set of black widow sides... im guessing i can buy them from honda...
anyone who knows... i love you!

Yes, 96-00 hatchback sideskirts are the same as 96-00 coupes.
In order to fit it on a 95 you gotta trim the front half of the sideskirts a little bit to fit the length of your coupe.
As for clips...i used the stock locations...you can get those black push in screws at honda or at autozone.
Goodluck homie

I am almost positive you need the hatch skirts.
They look good without any modifications. If
you want them to be on good, you will need
to drill new holse for the white things. I only used
like 3 on mine and they were fine.

AWESOME! thank you guys both...
so what you're sayin is the clips are really easy, just use as many as I have... i think i have 8 or so... so like 4 a piece, and I can either cut them to fit or leave them unmodified, and they still look good?
when you cut them doesnt that part that rolls up get taken off? wouldnt that look pretty weird?
thanks!

i have the hatch ones and they were like an inch too long? i trimmed mine down a little bit. Yeah, the part that rolls up is gone...but i have all 4 of stock eg mudflaps on my car...so you cant tell at all...the ek sides definitely make the car look better.

just got back from picking the sides up and they're in very good condition... i have 8 or 9 of the white clips... i see it takes 7 per side...
im probably going to do 4 per side, have an extra one on one side...
should i fasten it with screws anywhere else? or just the clips?
i'll try to get pics, these are REALLY nice... it's weird i was lookin ALL over for them today, i stumble upon someone who has em at H-T, happens to be in philly and i meet him an hour later in the home depot parking lot...
Havierl23 is a good guy!

first you have to cut the front of the EK sides about 2inches. (sorry dont have any before or after pictures) just cut it the same length and the EG ones.
then put those white clips onto the EK sides and then see where it lines up with the chassis (mine already has the square holes there cuz i drilled it already) to get the square holes i just drilled a big hole with a drill, then got a square file and just filed it to the right size square.
I didnt do all of them got lazy but if you see two holes on the picture the one on the left is the one i drilled !!!(dont try to make a hole for the first one in the front cuz there is something behind it and i couldnt get my filer in there.)!!!
this picture show the white clips in the holes for the EK ones
it should fit in after all this and the front will flare out a little so push the sides in and just use a selftappin screw to hold it in. also on the bottom the very far rear clip should clip in. if you want all the clips in there you have to drill holes on the EK sides so it will line up with the holes already there and then use those clips that came off of the bottom (those black screw type things)
Your done!!!!
hope this help those of you that wanted to know how i got it on. there must be other ways but this worked for me. some may say its "mickey moused" but it works and looks fine.

Re: someone answer for good! haha
Is everyone forgetting he has a coupe?
If you get hatch side skirts, they will
fit almost perfect, and you wont need
to cut them. They look kinda ghetto
when you cut the end off, so try
to do it without chopping them up.

I thought since all of the 96-00 Civics had the same wheelbase all of the sideskirts would be the exact same. Am I missing something?

Re: someone answer for good! haha (Ricey McRicerton)
I dont know a thing about 6th gens, so maybe im missing
something.
BUT*
When my freind was putting his on his 94ex coupe
he didnt have to cut his ek hatch side skirts.
They fit almost perfect, he didnt use any of the white
clips though, he would have had to drill to use those
still.
Maybe all the 6th gen skirts are the same, but I know
for a fact my freind didnt have to cut his when he put
them on his coupe. I figured it was because they were
from a hatch, but then again, I could be wrong.
something.

craziness... i think they're the same too...
alot of times ive seen people say they didnt cut them and they still look good...
alot of people chose to cut them for better fitment, i'll try em both ways... but I'm going to use the white clips, so I'll probably be drilling holes
next week project
heres some pics of the sides!
