Default Some Serious questions....

Where exactly can I find out what chassis my '93 Del Sol has, also the transmission number too? I know the engine is a pitiful little D15 (UGH that was embarrassing to say that!!!), but I am not sure about the tranny or chassis. It is an automatic if that helps. Can anyone help me out?

There are people on this board that don't

The engine isn't so much the problem as is the auto tranny.

Why not convert it to manual?

You can buy the conversion mount from HASport ( http://www.hasport.com ) and then find the Si/Ex manual tranny and the pedal assembly, and the clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, and all of the hard and soft lines from http://www.importautosalvage.com or another yard.

the tranny swap WILL happen in due time, the engine though may stay the same. though i am having issues finding parts for my engine, because everyone sells parts for the SI Del Sol but no one specifies whether the parts will work in the D15 engine that the S Del Sol has. I am looking at pistons and things like that and they all say for 1.6L engine but not 1.5L, can anyone help me out here?
