Default Some sad EK Civic news....

Well earlier tonight I was cruising down a suburban street in my home town heading to my girlfriend's house when all of a sudden I hear a thump and a scraping noice and I realized that i pulverized a dog. Not really fully understanding what had just happened I pulled over onto the side of the road and get out of my car and I hear a yelping and I look back at the intersection and see a poor innocent dog lying in the middle of the intersection. I go up to him and he is yelp and vomitting all over I didn't really know what to do so I went back to my car to get a couple of rags from my back seat to pull the dog from the middle of the road and I look back and he is not making any noise or anything, he is just lying there, not breathing or anything. After I pull the dog from the intersection I walk back towards my car and find my Mugen front lip in two pieces behind my car and then I walk to the front of my car and find that my front bumper has a huge rip in the bottom of it and a big crack in the middle. I need some input on this situation. What should I do? My car is Vogue Silver Metallic, should I......

The dog died?!?!?! You puppy killer! Did you call someone? What happened, someone just lost something that was a part of their family and all you care about is you Mugen lip?

I say no lip, OEM bumper so you cant kill any more puppies...

I deleted the poll option because too many ******** were adding lame choices.

Next time lock the poll please!

Oh and that sucks all around - I'm sure you didn't mean to kill that dog or your front end.

My dog got out and chased my car the other day.. shes brown, almost black.. and it was nightime, and I could barely tell the difference between my dog or a shadow.. but when it barked I stopped the car and took the little **** back home : P But I understand, it wasn't your fault if you hit an animal. Actually, if it was someones dog and they were taking care of it, it wouldn't be running around outside without a leash.. not your fault.. but yes it does suck

i love Mugen lips and all but i feel more sorry for the dog based on your description of what it was doing.

But i'd just get another stock bumper and stick on a CTR-style front lip. a guy i know did that on his '99, and it looks good. still subtle but more aggressive looking than a real one. I don't know how good the fitment was, though, but i've never noticed anything weird about how it sits under the bumper.

Who cares about a damn car at a time like that! Get ahold of the dogs' owners ASAP and let them know what happened. Like someone said, you killed a member of someone's family. It was wearing a collar, right?

Seriously--how the hell could you care about a damn car more than an actual living organism, especially if it's as big as a dog?! I'd like you to one day own a dog for a few years and watch someone end it's life in front of you in the way you just did and blame it on bad weather conditions and let them ask you what they should do about their CF front lip. I'd honestly have trouble sleeping at night if i were you--but hey, YOU have a front end to worry about fixing right?

That's bullshit.

A driver cannot always see such things in the road, and furthermore that was the irresponsibility of the owner(of the animal). I feel horrible that a dog died, but really, what's worse: the driver swerve to avoid the animal and go into oncoming traffic and potentially injure another person(s)? You have to commit to that hazard, whether you like it or not.

i feel bad for the dog sure. it was meant to die though. it was his time. could it have been prevented? sure, if the owner kept that bitch on a leash. point is, because of the dumbass owner, his car got messed up. Thats hard earned **** right there. Its not like the driver doesnt feel bad for what he did.

reasonable assumption would prove he didn't intentionally nix the dog, so therefore, he's not at fault...
