i wish i could find a d15b sohc vtec.. i was told that if i take the bottom end of the vtec-e motor, and put in my d16z6 pistons and head, i would essentially have that motor.

I'm just wondering why did you swap a B16 for the D15, was there something wrong with the B16?? That D15 cant be more fun to drive than the B16, can it???

nothing wrong with the B16A, just want something different and cheaper....
yes the JDM D15B is not that bad, puts out close to 120whp (in the old trim, already installed but not tested Zex cam, cam gear soon, VX crank pulley, D16y8 intake manifold + maybe an intake) all this should put out close to 135whp, which at weak b16a territory....all for $1000US (inlcludes LSD tranny, engine and all the parts)
the JDM d15b uses d16z6 head, intake, pistons and much more, bottom half is VX (1.5l), 137mm rods and 1.6l pistons (d16z6)....

the wing is cool, thinking of going with the Spoon Duckbil, but who knows, a little too flashy for me...
daily driven on 87 octane...this baby runs 650km (about 415 miles) to the tank....
