Default SOME AIR NOISE INSIDE BEHIND ME WHILE DRIVING

hey guys, dude, so i have this problem in the rear section of my interior, Im hearing this frickin NOISE all behind me, its REALLY REALLY LOUD... It sounds like u can hear my tires spinning from the inside of my car while im driving...Sounds like im in an airplane... all of my friends that ride in the car are like " holy **** wat is that noise!??! sounds like im in a airplane", lol. im thinking the vibration from the wheels is going through something and like going through something and comin into my interior... it is weird... when i stop.. its gone.. wen i go, its starts to make that noise again... when i start to brake... the noise lessens... the faster i go, the louder...

Honestly I think its your tires. Not sure why but does it do it on all roads? I find that on this one road I hear that sound alot its very weird. I think its the tires you are hearing but then again I haven't heard it.

yeah it might be your tires. get them balanced and that might fix the problem. i don't think it would be your springs though

what kind of tires do you have??? if you just put springs on did you get it aligned like your supposed to??? if not then its your tires out of camber AND toe and if i tires outta toe it will get pretty damn loud. even more so if they are sticky tires.

When they mounted the tires, they SHOULD have balanced them, but whos to say though. If you still have the receipt for the tire mounting, it should say on there.

This is my guess. Can you describe the pitch and behavior of the noise a little better?

hit any curbs lately?? if so, I am guessing your trailing arm is bent.

or your alignment is off. or you tires have uneven wear

Couldn't be your tire pressure could it?

Yea I have Potenza S0-3 205/50/15 on SI's .. (Maybe its just the SI's ;-) lol ) and it only makes that sound on one road in town, its awkward. The first time I heard it I pulled over and checked all my tires.

yeah, i also know of a couple roads that will cause such a noise. its pretty scary. I have also been tempted to pull over and check for tire pressure.

Are your back seats taken out? If you don't have a back interior it could be way louder than normal. (Especially if the small fuel pump cover is removed.) If not, then yeah I'd say get your tires balanced or wheel bearings.

when you turn your wheel right or left does the noise get louder on one side and stop or get quiet on the other? I had this problem in my Del Sol this year, and it was my rear wheel bearing. Same **** about it gettin louder and louder the faster you go. Look into the bearing, i really think thats your problem.

ok so i searched... it costs about 80-100 for the HUB and the bearings... cant i just buy the bearings and replace it myself.. b/c i take auto tech class at school(im a junior in high school) and my teacher most likely know what the hell he is doing so, im just wondering, do i have to replace the whole HUB of my rear drum brakes? or can i just buy the bearings?

it cost me 80 for the hub and bearing and a friend of mine did it for me in less than an hour. You wont save much just getting the bearing, he also told me it is better to get both the hub and bearing. He's a Honda Technician so I took his word for it. Btw I have had rear discs, so I dont know how much of a difference that makes for you. Good luck
