so i get home last nite from a club and there are 3 gashes in the hood of my sol from some guy with a raised truck backing in to me.

heres the question should i A) get a honda stock hood painted or B) get a cf hood. i would like to hear mostly from those with carbon hoods. pro's and con's

If i were you i would gat a CF hood but make sure you get hood pins or when you go to fast you can say good bye to your hood, windshield, and any other misc. parts it hits

cf, I love mine, I got it blended with the same color paint as my car. I think it sets it off.

for the price of a new stock hood (unless you can find a cheap deal), it's better to go CF

smashed hood is the best reason to go CF hehe

make sure you really pin them down and get the hood lock as well

I would get a carbon hood, but make sure it is good. I am running a VIS and I am not using pins, but for your safety you can evaluate whether you feel more need for safety and if you like the way pins look. That hood might be able to get fixed, but just leave it around to do that if you ever paint your car or want the stock one back on. Carbon all the way...
