Default SOHC ZC ecu
its an ODB-1 JDM SOHC VTEC motor, will a p28 work or do I need the p27?

hey i have a JDM DOHC ZC motor that comes with a complete swap except the mounts for $700....let me know if u want it...

SOHC, and I've already bought one, it's in the shop now getting sleeved etc...just wanted nfo on the ecu........this is not a WTB thread.......

p28 will work but it will throw a code for the VTEC solenoid/p sensor.

p27, P76, P29, P06 will also work very well.

why would it throw a vtec solenoid/p sensor code?

many JDM motors don't have the VTEC oil pressure switch b/c the jdm ecus don't look for it. usdm vtec ecus will look for the vtec oil pressure switch.
