i have a d16z6 with 300k on it. it just started burning a lot of oil now that i have picked up a new dd i plan on rebuilding or building the engine up. i have been looking around to see if someone has put a6 pistons in an a6 or z6 block with a z6 cam, crack, head, a6 or z6 rods, and a y8 head gasket. i would like to know if this will work and if so what kind of power it will make. as well what other thing i may need this will be my first engine build and is the one a good place to start?
