You should at least get a B16 motor just to hear the sound of the vtec crossover. I sounds so beautiful. Especially with an AEM CAI.

I've never heard a sohc vtec crossover.

My friend has a 94si. He's had intake, intake/no exhaust, and intake/header.
Never once heard a crossover. I've listened hard too.

not to hate or anything, but i dont think you will get 130 hp with the 1.5, the 1.6D16 with v-tec only has 127 hp. good luck with the sway though!!

Ridiculous.... The origianl poster is correct it does have 130hp. It has higher compression then the D16Z6 which has 127hp.

If your statement is true then tell me how a B17 has 160hp and a JDM second gen B16 has 170hp?? The B17 has .1 more displacement over the B16 just as the D16Z6 had .1 displacement over the D15.

Please don't misinform people by guessing. Research before you post.

the sound of a single and dual are not even compareable, the DOHC is very loud and w/ good intake and exhaust has a ver deep hard pull to it, you will never get that out of a single

are you sure?...the h22 vtec crossover sounds very tame compared to a b-series...
my sisters b16 VTEC is way louder and my friends GSR is just slightly tamer than the b16....maybe it's my exhaust and the p28 ecu, which forces me leave the secondary always open

if you want loud VTEC noise b16 is the way to go...best sounding VTEC!

Yes, those are some of the best reasons to spend $3000 dollars on a motor.
