SOHC VTEC intake manifold questions
Hey guys,
I have a D16Z6 with an intake, over-bored throttle body, and GUDE cam, but I still have the stock intake manifold. I want to go a little bit bigger, and I don't have the money for a Skunk 2 or the like.
I am looking at a Y8 manifold because I hear it's just a little bigger than the Z6 manifold, but does anyone know if the DOHC ZC manifold fits a Z6 and if it's any bigger?
My question that I searched for is: does anyone have any data on this swap with their Z6. How much power and where on the powerband did it increase or decrease, and what mods you have in conjunction with it. Is it worth doing? Considering I can get one for $20, any little increase in power would be worth it.
