Could i use Integra type R valvetrain on my SOHC. might sound dumb but i want to be able to redline at 8500. my stock valvetrain is only good up to 78. would my stock bottom end be able to handle 8500 redline?

cuz the faster you rev the more hp u make dummy.
If I could make mine rev to 30,000 then I could probably hit 8's in the quarter.
Nope, R valvetrain will not work.

why would you want to rev to 8500? I bet your car doesn't even make more HP passed 6700rpm's.

No you cannot use the Type R valvetrain.
To get power at 8500.
You need a new cam, new valve springs and retainers for the SOHC, a programmable ECU, and some tuning time.
