SOHC crower s2 cam
for the d16y8, what does the rpm range mean in the description, 900-7,500+. does this mean my idle will now be increased to 900 or what cuz on the stage 1 it explains it from idle to 7,200+. help please i need a new cam.
here it is from the crower site.
Stage 1 - Features far more agressive ramp rate then stock with added duration. Excellent for turbo and nitrous. Idle to 7200+ rpm.
and...
Stage 2 - Street/Strip with slight lope at idle due to increased primary and secondary lobes. Requires 84166 kit. 900-7500+ rpm.
what extcly does this mean
sorry im a moron....

Re: SOHC crower s2 cam (sohcMONSTER)
i interpret that info as where the power improvements are vs. stock...
regardless, you will want to increase the idle speed a bit ie 900rpm cuz the idle is a little rough, misses and farts a bit at idle...its awesome tho...def will not be able to lie about the internals being stock anymore.
