Default SOHC buildup need some ideas....

Finally decided to just build up the old SOHC EX motor in my civic. I need some help from all the tech heads here. My basic idea is to do a mini me type swap here...DX block meets EX head. I want to rebuild the head with all Skunk2 parts, but I am not sure about bottom end. I want to turn about 10k+ rpms and its gonna be turbocharged eventually but basic NA is what I am looking at for the time being. Its definately going to be sprayed with a little bit of the good ole laughin gas of course. How about you guys give me some input. Keep in mind that this is going to be a daily driver and run off pump gas. I am also tryin to figure out if JUN makes their 4-speed slapshift tranny for a D-series motor but if not its gonna have a Dragonfire torque convertor on it. Yes its an auto but by god when I am done it wont drive like one. Wondering if anyone can help me out here...lets see what you can come up with.

Forgive me for being blunt...But your expectations sound a bit unrealistic.

You want to do a mini-me, but you already have a d16z6/y8? Why?!

Just check out www.dseries.org.

make up your mind N/a application or turbo... cant really go both not in my eyes.. 10 k rpm? why would you want to rev up that high.?? alot of care out there dont make peak whp even at that high of an rpm.. you proly wont even go anywhere cuz of your tranny gears...if you want turbo i say complete buil dof the bottem end with some type of forge stuff and dual valve springs just for starters valve why am i answering this..????????? do a search

ok forgive me. maybe i am confusing myself. i always thought a mini me swap was basically the DX block with the EX vtec head on it. looks like i was wrong. forget the whole mini me swap...i have the DX block and EX head already (full EX motor in car). main reason being i have always heard that the DX bottom end is better. might be wrong there. but thanks for the help so far. hope that cleared everything up.
