SOHC auto ECU work with DOHC manual?

i know it'll throw codes but will it work? i just need to run it for about 30 minutes to get to a tuner.

will it fry the ECU or anything?

yes but make sure its only to the place and dont rev high at all

my friend ran a p28 stock on his DOHC for a month or so...it didnt do nethin but just cause the car to idle up and down.
