Default SOHC = 450 lbs??

Hey guys just wondering a total weight of a SOHC with tranny (5spd), axles, accessories etc. Plus additional 5 spd tranny. I'd say, around 450-lbs. neighborhood. Please let me know how much you know and/or think all that weighs?
TIA

well when SCC did an H22 swap into a Civic, they said the D15 + tranny was about 200lbs and the H22+tranny was about 400 lbs. (I think those were w/ tranny). Not sure which SOHC engine you have, though.

tranny + motor + axles + all the possible accessories (a/c, p/s, shift link) = 225-250lbs

300 pounds is a good estimate for you,

tranny+tranny+sohc block+axles ~~ 3-- lbs.

I'm trying to figure out how much it's gonna cost me in shipping charges ( without actually bringing it to the shipping company) But I guess 400 would be playing safe.

80 lbs in a well packed box.

The tranny itself weighs about 70 lbs.

bahahhahah overestimation of motor weight. the block couldnt weigh much more than 100lbs and the head not much more than 50 and the tranny is around 50lbs or so id say, i lifted one once, so the total weight of the motor couldnt be much over 275-300lbs

I know for a FACT you are wrong on the tranny weight. I've shipped/recieved 6+ trannys. Total shipping weight is rigth at 80-83 well boxed.

Which of the 13 trannys that I have do you want me to weigh?
