Soggy Civic
Hey guys or girls would any of you buy a vehicle that had been in a flood? This guy in Texas has this pretty nice 99' civc for sale but it was in a fresh water flood and now the engine doesn't run, the interior looks good. I figured an engine would run me about $3000, is this right? Also if it's a salvaged title than how hard is it to sell later if I want to get rid of it. I guess the guy was driving around with no insurance and got caught in alotta rain! Now he's up a creek with his civic at the bottom. Thanks for any help.

Re: Soggy Civic (buggsy458)
I would pursue this with EXTREME caution. when it flooded in NC with hurricane Floyd lots of people got burned with buying cars that were flooded, lots of electrical problems came about later on down the road.
