soft clutch
I got a 93/94 Civic with a gsr motor and act clutch. When the weather is warm, everthing runs great. When the weather is cold, I have to push the clutch all the way in to change gears and amount of free play is greatly increased (by inches).
The clutch pedal also fails to fully spring back. After the car fully warms up after about 30 minutes of driving, everything seems fine again. Can anyone give me any idea as to what might be causeing this? I have not found any fluid leaks (so far) and would like to have an idea of whats wrong before I have any work done on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: soft clutch (madwilliam)
You can check your clutch master or listen for a squeaking sound coming from the throw-out bearing the car has to be off when you try that. Just push the pedal in a few times.

Re: soft clutch (topspeed86)
I would do the easy thing first and just bleed the clutch.
