So, what's the redline?
OK look before everyone tells me to search, I did and got 2 results and none had a straight answer. Looked on google, same thing.
What I want to know is the redline of a JDM 92-96 H22A Stock. Don't tell me 'Well it's safe to rev to ______'. I want the STOCK redline of a H22 from japan, you know, the number where the red ink starts on a JDM tach. I've heard 7200, 7400, 7450, 7600, 7800, 8000, 8200.
Which is the correct STOCK TACH one?
Thanks.
P.S., I put it in this forum because I just dropped in a H22 in my EG and would like to know when to shift.

Re: So, what's the redline? (H22Ej1)
I honestly thought it was 6800, but i drag mine out to 7200, tuned of course.
Im almost positive its not in the 8's, h-series trannys tend to grenade at and above 8k rpm, run all the power you want on a stock tranny, but high R's will kill it
