ya it was but i dont know why... there was no frame damage or roof damage and the rear body panel and the driver side rear and of course the trunk lid and odd and end things but those are the only extreme body problems that we replaced n it drives great i love the suspension it handles like no other

It's pretty obvious why it was totalled, the quarter panel was damaged. That is probably the most expensive body peice to fix on any car, because of how big it is, the shape and how it doesn't bolt on/off.

Contrary to popular belief, our Hondas aren't worth as much as Ferraris; therefore they are easily totalled out due to the fact that cost to fix them out weighs what it's worth.

Judging from those pictures, you're going to need a lot more besides the rear quarter panel, glass, trunk lid and a rear bumper. The rear bumper support is all bent to hell, and it appears the spare tire well suffered damage as well.

I get the feeling you're going to half *** this.

haha nah i wont half *** it i got the time and money to do it right so its gonna be done right for sure

but the spare tire is all good i thought the same thing about that n the bumper support is fixed now

haha ya i'll probably loose the n1 thats one of the downfalls but i cant decide on another exhaust right now i want a deeper sound any suggestions?

I'm glad to hear you won't be half assing it, that car has a lot of potential. I used to have N1 on my EJ1, it sounded good. I recently got the Megan Drift Spec exhaust, sounds really nice and looks good, too.

I actually like it. It needs to be cleaned up and painted, and I think it would look original.

+1 for the bumper.

Good luck on your build

ya it will all be cleaned up and i gotta put the skirts back on it... i dont know why their off but ill probably put a small lip on the rear bumper n clean it all up and spray black

but i decided i'm gonna turbo the d soon but i gotta wait a bit cause gas on my truck is out the wazoo n i still gotta get around haha

plus like i said its gonna be done right fo sho so i'm gonna put cp pistons je rings n eagle rods n it n probably new valve springs and whatnot but its going to be done right cause i gotta drive this when its done and i want it to haul *** when i want it to and also be a strong daily driver

think i could put out like 325-350 whp n still have a reliable daily driver? how much boost you think i'll need for that (approx)?

Yeah, you can run 350 whp on a daily. You'll need a b series swap with mildly built internals AT LEAST to have a reliable setup..

It will need to be tuned.

Boost to get that is doing to depend on the turbo.

reliably, you can put around 210whp.. That's where I'd stop, cause I'm a cautious person. however I think you can get to 250whp, but that's the limit, unless you want to sacrifice your reliability and engine (without rebuilding & modding internals, etc...)
