BLAH BLAH BALH

Basically I go in the car, turn the key, and nothing happends. The car lights up since the battery does work. No clicky noises from the starter.

Replaced starter and got it check at Autozone, its working fine. Put in car and still no Clicky Noises whatsoever. What now?

All fuses checked... also, my father's friend who works at honda and is a mechanic there said that it might be the new starter i bought, something about refurbished items, so imma buy a new one tomrorow and see what's up,. kk

i would double check the the signal wire going to your started. sometimes it is not on when you think it is. also check the and make sure the battery teminal is tight

ran a wire from the battery to the starter ( small wire with female terminal). Just tap the wire to the battery and see if it willl turn over. Make sure that the ignition is on #2.

I went to Autozone and got both starters checked, and they both work. Now I don't know what to do...

could be your signal wire to the starteer from the igntion

2 wires from starter....onr is power the other is singal to tell the starter to start

Guys I don't know to do... The Starter is Fine. Nothing is wrong with the Starter or the Fuses. So what now?

Ive had a very similar problem. You need to check your netural saftey switch and your ignition switch. Get a wire and run it from the positive post on the battery to your small wire on the starter. If the starter works then, then that means you have a problem such as a short in your wiring, bad fuse, clutch saftey switch, or ignition switch. It has to been in there if it starts by jumping it with a wire.

turn the key to the on position and turn your radio off and make it quit so you can hear any nioses. listen for a rattling vibrating niose coming from under the driver kick panel or the pasenger kick panel. There is a relay there that runs your starter and ignition. If you hear that relay making niose replace it. If it is broken you will not even be able to push start cause the ignition runs off of it too.

To get to it on a 96-00 EJ i know it on hte pasenger side, you will have to open the pasenger door and remove the panel held on by one screww. Once off there is a 10mm bolt and you unscrew it and the relay will come out from inside the car.

I just switched my Positive Wire with my brothers Wire (he also has a 93 hatchback). When I took the Positive wire that connects to the Starter and switched it with my brothers, it was the exact same thing. Starter still didn't work.... I'm done for the day, Ill try HcivExoo and j87w advice tomorrow. This sux.
