so i wake up this morning to a phone call from the shop that was doing all my body work... they asked me if i took my car last night... me half asleep... was like wtf!!! say what?...and the owner tells me that the cars gone... i thought it was a joke but its gone now ...it was a 92 cx hatch.. the color was a metalic grey with flat black slips... i had a
-98 type-r swap with a b16 intake manifold , b16 valve cover
-type-r tranny
-koni yellows with ground controls
-flat black slips with dunlops...rims were painted by SHG_EasyE
-buddy club lug nuts with matching valve caps for tires
-gsr disk all around
-apexi world sport
-type r header
-omin power test pipe that was welded
-fake spoon carbon fiber duckbill
-gsr clothes with a rip in the driver seat
-gsr cluster
-blacked out headlights with amber corners
-autometer gauges water filled (oil temp, oil pressure, water temp)
-autopower cage that was paited battle ship grey
-and a python 990 alarm with the two way pager...costed a lot of money
Ill try to post pics of it when i can find some...right now my hard drive with all my pics is some were in my room

if any one can give me any info on where my cars is or know who took it i will give them money...i got money in hand

yeah i thought the samething about the shop, but the owner of the shop, his son is really good friends with me. i dont know but im losing a lot of money from this. if i find out that it was my friends dad....ohh he is going to be f**ked... the worst part of it all was that there was a benz parked right next to me...so the person or people went through all the trouble of cutting the lock and trying to take my little hatch but meanwhile there is a $60,000 car right next to it...weird....

Sorry for your lost. When i bring my car to a shop, i usually park kind of near my car with my friend and stay a night out there to make sure my car isnt being messed around with! Good luck dude!

I would go for the shop immediately. Come on, they obviously know what you have in there and if there was a mercedez right there why wouldn't they go for it?

inside job.... go after them. Find out if theres any nearby survellance etc... Sorry to hear bout your lost. I myself have tons of cash invested in the coupe I have and Id flip if someone took my ****.

A full car is easier to trace. Your car is easier to turn around. They tear the Hondas down and sell it all off. The Mercedes they would probably prefer to sell as a whole, and that's a lot more difficult to pull off.

Not to mention that people who drive nice new Mercedes are voters and contribute to the community in positive ways. We're just a bunch of kids who drive Hondas, break the law with our modifications, cause a general nuisance (noise) and street race. If you were the police or the government, which do you think would warrant a big investigation? Theft of a bunch of modified Hondas or theft of expensive luxury cars?

Sometimes cars just get taken for joy rides and sometimes they get stripped and cut up. Let's hope someone stupid just thought your car was pretty and wanted to have some fun with it.

Dont blame the owner... blame the employees that work for the owner... could be them.

if i EVER am going to leave my car at a shop overnight... i would at least try to have them lock it up in the shop/garage.

And for good reason. Civics are 10,000 times easier to steal then the Benz.

Still sucks though.

shouldnt the shops insurance cover averything it was in there possesion when the theft occured??? good luck getting it back

there are three people that work there and two of them i know personally...i went to look if they had cameras...and nope they dont...i walked down the street to ask every single person that lives on that street...and no one saw anything...but i undersatnd what everyone is saying about the shop

ask if shop is going to pay u for your lost cause it was stolen from their property and they should be responsible..

i agree, they should have a good enough security system for a business that takes in cars to work on them for a good period of time and their insurance should cover that - i know it sucks cause you know them on a personal level but what would be worse...them calling their insurance to try and help you out or them not doing anything about it leaving you without a car, or anything for that matter

That sucks. I had my civic hatch stolen last year. They found it but it was stripped. F*ck theives. Hope you can find it.

Yeah, my brother had his car broken into and they stole his stero, seats...stuff like that. and the shops insurance covered my brothers losses because it happend on there property site and while it was in there possesion. You might want to look into that!

WOW! i would check to see if theyre insuance covers the loss which is highly unlikely you'll get what you invested in it. sounds to me like theres not much you can do but hope that its found! to bad you didnt have lo jack

Sorry for your loss dude! My cx was stolen at the end of july. Damn thieves. the cops didn't do **** to help me out, my insurance didn't do **** either. it was found a week later stripped. but now i've started all over. do everything my way. did you get a police report and that?
