So my car got keyed...
I was shopping for computer supplies...6hrs in the store since it was so crazy. So I come out to find that my car had been keyed...from the gas tank area to the driver side door. I guess someone didn't like my car. Just thought I'd share...I don't think it's fingernail deep, so maybe it can be buffed out. We'll see...

my old car got keyed 9 different times. and someone had the time and hate to actually key "**** you" into my car. Mind you, my car was a 92 Toyota Tercel so there was absolutly no reason to do it to a car like that other than me...and i thought i was a nice guy....

make sure you finish up the keying if you know what I mean. Insurance can be shady and try to only paint that side. It won't matter, a deductible is a deductible. It won't match! And here's your chance to paint the car any color you want! Insurance goes up, but its not unbearable!

yup! most of the times... whenever the insurance co. has to pay out, insurance rates go up.
But like someone said, its bearable! Especially if u don't mind a little lying to the ins. co. If u key enough of the car (don't go crazy, though), u just sacrificed a deductible for a brand new paint job !
But remember, that's one of the reasons the insurance co. create such high premiums for hondas.

Sorry to hear about your car man.
Well, if you plan to get an insurance claim, you should definitely get it keyed enough for a new paint job. Otherwise, go find a reputable body shop in your area and they should be able to spray in some paint over the scratches and blend it in. Although, I don't know how much it will cost, I'm sure its cheaper than a whole new paint job. Just thought I should give you another option to choose from. Good luck on whatever you do.
