Default So many exhaust choices...

Here's the situation, I intended to buy a Tanabe Racing Spec exhuast within a month or so. I know they're pretty loud, bordering on illegal but whatever. However, My dad was talking to a co-worker who owns an ITR, He suggested getting a RSR exhuast. He said that he would import it from Japan for me if I wanted. I was wondering if any of you guys heard any good and/or bad things about this exhuast including price details, power gains, etc... Just want to make an informed decision, thanks alot. Oh by the way I have a 2000 Civic Si.

I heard it has one of the nicest designs out there and the sound that it creates is smooth and low and not so loud like others. It used to be available in the states also. Check out this site for your other Honda needs.

to get rid of that weed whacker noise using a N1 design d muffler u need a decent resonator..after the cat mount a 4 inch round muffler in place of a resonator..ull retain the exhaust velocity without all the noise

that exhaust is probly good, but why pay more money and spend more time....i mean an exhaust isnt really a BIG power adder, a regualr aftermarket will do just fine, but whatever u like go for it

RS*R is a wicked exhaust. If I could spare the money to get one I would.

i have the RS*R exhaust on my coupe. its quiet so you wont attract any attn. from cops. also, the RS*R exhaust will be heavier than the N1 design.

RS*r exhaust are nice, helped a friend put it on an eh2 hatch a while back, fitment is really nice, sounds GREAT, and the gains is your basic power gain from an exhaust. for N/A purposes, they are great.

I've got Tanabe RM and love it. Yeah, it's loud but still legal. Cops still give me crap, but I've had every exhaust ticket dropped in the easiest ways. You still get a silencer with it too, to help keep the noise down.

The Tanabe's aren't that loud unless you're at full throttle. They're definitely a lot lighter and have a deep sound, not buzzy.

See sig. Still have the certificate that says it's 50 state legal.

Default Apexi WS!!

Are you talking about the old school rsr exhaust or the new invidia? There is a big difference between the two. My personal favorite is the Apexi WS. It's really quiet but that's what I need because I commute 80+ miles a day. I had one on my 00 hatsc (see sig for sound cluip) and I just bought one for my 94 hatch.

Isn't the new skunk2 exhaust manufactured by rsr indivia of japan?
I can tell you this, we installed a full polished cat back on a rsx-s the other
day and it sounds amazing. And I swear with the silencer in it sounds like a
mugen exhaust i have heard on another twin cam.
I would get it in a heart beat.

Greddy SP
I had one on my Integra, loved it because it was straight thought but still pretty quiet, might get it for my hatch now. Old school GReddy owns.
