so i somewhat completed my 5 lug but there was a significant problem. need insight
so i bought complete 5 lug suspension from password jdm. now they say everything is supposed to bolt right which for the most part it did. some minor fabricating had to be done up front which was not an issue. However when it came to the rear suspension we ran into a problem.
the lower control arm they sent me was about 2 inches shorter then my stock one. when we bolted everything up the rear had a positive camber of OVER 30 degrees i **** you not. what we ended up doing was putting on the stock LCA and strut(the type r struts wont hook up with my stock lca) and everything fit perfectly. I checked online on passwordjdm and their site says everything should fit perfectly. Do you think they sent me the wrong lca's because as the car sits now its comlete suspension in the front and in the rear i have 5 lug and brake with stock civic ex struts and LCA's. Please help me. Thanks
P.S. the car its on is a 2000 civic and we double checked everything and we put everything on the right way, even had my friends dad whos a mechanic check to make sure

All I know is that EK and DC2 suspensions arent identical in suspension geometry, the DC is similar to the EG, and if you put EG LCAs on a EK (or DC2 LCAs) you'll have positive camber.

i know the fitting will be fine but the stock lca's are a thin piece of metal where the bottom of the stock strut has a fork prong to bolt on. when it comes to the type r strut is a round ball at the end where it fits inbetween the DC2 lca. the type r cannot link up with my stock lca so thats why i am wondering if there is an aftermarket one that will?

i ordered CTR 5 lug and i recieved ITR instead even though they said it was CTR. As for the lca i dont have to replace them but ido need the ctr rear stuts so it will link up with my stock lca. right now i have the itr struts and have been calling a bunch of places.
As a footnote to those planning on doing 5 lug conversion if you an ek chasis you need ctr 5 lug not itr because the front upper control arms wont hook up without some fabricating and the back you need ctr struts and lca's.

just get some aftermarket rear lcas to fix the rear shock problem. as far as i know, i dont know any of aftermarket lcas for the ek thats has the mountin hole for the shock inside the lca. the dc and ek rear lca is different lengths. its only transferable btw eg and dc. for the front, u got that figure, either reuse ur stock upper a arm or go aftermarket ie skunk2.

Re: (CivicSiRX)
yeah as already said the rear LCAs are different between tegs and civics, I just used my stock rear LCA when I was putting on my rear disc swap (4-lug). If you ordered a CTR 5-lug swap and they gave you a ITR one just ask them to send you the CTR rear LCAs, then it will be fine, other than the fab work you already did for the front...
