So I got a civic yesterday.
I just picked up a 96 dx hatch for 3,600 with 52k miles on it. I like it so far but I need to lower it badly what are some decent springs that arent really $$$ I am kinda low on the cash flow lol. Oh yea it was the one I said I was going to lowball on.

Save until you can afford a good set-up.
Suspension is not something you wnat to go cheap with. Been there done that! You'll just end of wasting money......

Thanks for the advice I just kinda stumbled on it lowballed and got it. The dealer kept complaining about how they are only getting around 20 dollars out of the deal (yea right) and kept trying to sell me a ford focus . I am just gonna lower it on springs then buy shocks later on so who makes these r1s you speak of?

Damnit I already ordered euros and misc neons to. Nah its gonna get a turbo setup probably since the mileage is low. Then when it blows a swap and moving of turbo setup to this car. Some si wheels probably and 99 tails for appearence.

eibach sportline 1.8" is a nice drop for a hatch(what i have on mine)! but you will have rubbing when you swing a U, normal for a hatch.. you can go H&R Or Sprint Springs... w/ no rubbing you will only be able to put like 1" or 1.5"
good luck

Yeah, no kidding. 52K for 3,600... That's what I paid for my 92 CX with 75,000...
