so i get pulled over :mad:
k i get pulled over by chp on the freeway and he gives me two tickets one for intake and one for my rear turn signals being white. damn. i know i can sign the lights off but what do i do with the intake ticket? damn i think i have to go see a ref. dammit i hate doing that had to go see a ref for my exhuast while back already..
scary goin to the ref. good thing i didnt have my turbo kit on lol.. anyways greddy kits are street legal in cali now right? this all happen in cali. westminster.
oh and the chp popped my hood. that never happened to before. scary.. only thought that happened in san diego. but i guess he said their crackin down on street racing. but i dont street race
the cop was kew.. i had a nitrous bottle right there also. lol.. oh and he didnt even say anything bout my rear diffuser.. i was scared he was gonna trip on that but he didnt.

edit* cali just fucken sucks now man. my friend just got pulled over and got a ticket for a fucken intake. sad thing is that someone just hit and run him yesterday. and today he was tryin to find a police department to file a report. i officially say **** COP!!!!

intake should be carb legal if its one of the big boys like injen, iceman or aem.
If the tails say DOT / SAE on them then you can tell the cop to cram it. 99 Si tails have white turn lenses.... unless you have white bulbs too? most states require orange or red bulbs.

back to topic: sucks for getting the ticket...glad I live in ohio...I can run open header/dp if I wanted to and not have to worry....cops around here arnt too bad on the honda guys because most of the crap in sport compacts thats illegal is with the automatic cavaliers lol

yeah my stupid intake didnt have a filter on it. lol.. or did he give me a ticket for my fuel pressure guage? cuz he asked bout that also. but yeah i have white bulbs. cops never hassled me before bout it. weird. i told the chp i watched super troopers and he laughed. lol. what u guys think should i get red or orange turn signals?

Just put it back to stock settings. They cant say anything about fuel monitoring(the gauge) and changeing the color of your stock regulator.
and as for the bulbs go amber. Thats what i have in my ej1 tails, that are red and clear. And if i were you i would not drive around with the bottle in the car. Seeing that you said that you don't street race and all.
