super glue or hot glue will work just fine jk

next time we take out your oil pump supply a cold six pack

expecially on a 80 degree day

Ur crazy, I wouldnt' glue it. I'd weld it.

Let us know if it had that light on for a while. If so, check for wear indications. Reason I say is because my z6 is having odd oil issues, my guess is more the pump than the bearings. I'm hoping it can wait 1 more week till I get my newer car working.

it was the stock pulley....i heard a raddling noise so i shut it off well a bit latter i was going to drive the car home and the noise went away....well........lets say the noise going away scared me more than it making the noise lol now all there is to do is put it back together.

how does a pully effect the oil pump gears so that it causes it to shatter?

if you use one of those ebay underdrive pulleys they don't have the harmonic <SP> balancer on it which could cause bad vabrations making things break...

What made you decide it was the pump and did the oil light come on before or after the rattling?
