So i Decided To work on the EJ1 and this is what i did + Pics!
So Decided i would Start Getting This Winter Project going with pics of me Painting my own Fenders, and this is the Results... Getting the final pics tomorrow due to the lack of light outside, so ill post a pic of the final product tomorrow i hope
had a question on the finaly pic you see how the new paint is all glossy (i know it looks pink but its just the light ) and the old paint is like Bleh..., is their any way of restoring the shine and color to it? by cleaning waxing and polishing the old paint? would it get to its almost the same as the new paint? i have here this 3M Performance finish waxing application, but scared and dont know how to go about doing this procedure? or if its even worth it, and i should just wait to repaint my entire car?
please help, in dire need of restoring the color of this 14 year old car

If you get the car sprayed professionally youll have to sand all the rattle can stuff off of it of youll run the risk of the paint lifting, checking, or just not sticking at all. But, it does look much better than it did before!

lookin good so far,
but get a lip,
either cut out or paint your grills the same black as the hood
and thats a large step in the right direction

Whoever sprays that car is going to be cussing you! Lol but look a hell of a lot better in the mean time. Check out the paint and body forums, I'm working on a start to finish write up of the proper way to tackle automotive refinishing... Maybe you'll want to spray it yourself
