Default so how much HP did this civic have?

so i was wondering...the other night i was out and i raced a turbo civic hatch older like 92-97ish (sorry not really a honda guy) we went from 50-130ish and he beat me by about 3 cars...

i drive a 2000 camaro with about 480hp at the wheels and not to make excuses because it was a fast civic but i did have 4 people in my car and i had low N2O pressure (wet kit) so i was probly running close to 465hp instead of 480(cause of too much fuel and not enough N20). but how much hp does that civic have to be putting down to beat me like that?!

fast88std is correct... Otherwise it's not possible for an Import to beat a Domestic by such a distance!

Period.

say camero weights about 3500 + 500 for people... 4000lbs... 450hp/4000lbs=0.1125

2500lbs civic w/ driver.. x/2500lbs=0.1125
x=280...

about 300hp

yeah 2300 + 200 driver 2500...

those are very rough estimates/assumptions...

and most likely it was pushing more than 300hp... 350 sounds about right in practice

I can't figure out if this a stupid E-Racing thread... or if this thread actually has some technical information in it.

Take out rear seats and only give rides to skinny people. Should be lighter then..haha. Either that or make people pay for rides and put it towards a turbo or super charger .

I wounder how much you spent and how much he spent?

I bet the Boosted Civic spend less.....

It all really comes down to this.... To get the most horsepower out of per dollar
