Default so... which is which?

i'm having a heck of a time trouble shooting. below is a picture of the vtec pressure switch... 2 pins are labeled also (#1 and #2) now, which pin is supposed to be connected to the GROUND?

im almost 100% positive that 1 is power and 2 is ground

hey ... didnt i already help you on aim?? and ithought u said it worked??? ok anyway.. you told me you had the clip for it.. there is 2 wires on that clip.. the black one is ground and the other goes to the ecu

here's something to think about.... it's a switch. it doesn't care which is which.
All it does is connect the two pins together when the oil pressure is high enough. Neither are directly connected to the case or you would only have one wire.

so to answer your question, it doesn't matter.
how is the car wired? like everyone said. 1-ECU, 2-ground.

i have wired #1 to the ground and #2 to the ECU.

just double checking because somebody said i might have a short somewhere because i'm still gettting a weird noise.

ok I'll ask... what weird noise???
what's it sound like? where is it comming from (aprox area)
