what i did was grind the head off then started to smash it off with a 15lb hammer and a puncher

you can also take it to a shop. 10-20 bucks.

When mine broke i ripped the rubber also. I took the blade of the hacksaw through the hole and cut the outter metal part, then pounded it out and pressed a new one in.

Get yourself this **** called PB blaster, lay the control arm on it's side and spray the bolt around the sides. Give it about 15 mins. then try again, repeat on other side of control arm and repeat if neccessary, this **** is amazing we use it at work all the time. Good luck.

i would either get some aftermarket lca's (perfect time seeing one of yours is screwed) or melt the old bushings out of your old lca's, get some polyurethane bushings pressed in, and get a new bolt for the one that broke off

The bolt is probaby siezed up inside the bushing. I have already tried pb blaster. As great as it works it wont loosen the bolt up from the bushing. I went ahead and just purchased some aftermarket lca's. Good luck!

yes the bolt is seizd inside the bushing, i have already cracked off the head of the bolt and broken the welds fromt eh bolt on the strut so now all i should have to do is strike it up but no matter how hard we hammered on it nothing would move.

i am considering new LCA's with bushings already in them based on the weight and the pimp factor of having full bars and aluminum lca's under the car but seeing that i drive 100 kms a day i would like to see if i can find somthing imediatly for a replacment.

does anyone know how much new bushings cost for that spot and how to install them?

also what should i expect to pay for a used 5th gen lca?
