Default Smokes at high RPMS

i have a 93 del sol auto. i have noticed sometimes when i get on it that at 6k or higher it smokes a lil. looks like grey or black smoke. i do see alot of hondas that do this and i talked to some ppl and they say its normal for hondas. Just want to make sure so thot i would ask. Thanks guys. James

its normal in any average to high mileaged vtec motor...since the vtec is activated by oil pressure..it is usually attributed to seals allowing oil to leak into the cylinders...take out the spark plugs and see if they are covered in oil...sometimes piston rings depending on the mileage

The only time I've seen that is like the guy above me said, the seals, more importantly the valve seals. It could be a number of them but I've seen it on a couple of cars as being the valve seals.

the one spark plug closest to the dizzy had oil on it but the plugs never were changed when my aunt had it so i put new ngks in it. so ill just take it easy i guess on or not rev so high.

also check the seal on the dizzy to see if its leaking around it or from it

41184ek9 i just did that oring today and a oil change. the old oring was hard.
