smoke at hi-revs
Sup Dudessss lol
Alright iknow im burning a little oil on my car. its a stock 1.5 on my del sol S.
But she runs good so she is staying there. but i notics when i rev her sometimes i see a little smoke out the back.
Now that doesent bug me its the black sutt or whatever that sits on my bumper.
and my car is white. So the question is 1 what can i buy to wash that stuff off? and two i know theres additive for your oil like stuff called no smoke or Engine restore that are supposed to help with these issues of smoke and burning oil. anyone have any in put.
Thanks mah duuuudes.

Re: smoke at hi-revs (a2dadamm)
I'm gonna guess it's a small headgasket leak.
Just keep your eye on the oil color and amount.
EDIT:
With a small headgasket leak it could either stay the same and you can add a quart every month or two, or you might bring it too high and that small leak will blow out..then you're talking about warpage 'n such, I'd change it ASAP.

A head gasket leak would not cause that kind of a problem.
I'm guessing it has high miles on it, a little oil consumption is normal, but I would advise against putting additives in the oil. Your rings might be worn out. Check your PCV valve, if that is clogged or not working, that will increase oil consumption, it will also leave a noticeable amount of oil in the intake system.
The soot on your bumper is more than likely fuel, and a tune up would probably help, but I don't know what all you have as far as maintainence into this thing. A failed/removed catalyst would also contribute to this.
