SMOG Passed in the morning, failed in the afternoon
Ok, so I went to get my car smog checked because Im selling it. Went in the morning the guy does the emissions test first then fails me on inspection. FOR WHAT?? For not having my timing valve cover on. So i put it on and go back in the afternoon, hes running it at 15 mph then he goes you're not going to pass, that number on the screen cant pass 100. I have a B18B Ek hatch. What do you guys think is going on?

Did he run the emissions test the first time?or did he tell you to come back with the cover on?Is it two speed idle?i don't understand people ask for help on here and give out no info.Post some info on the fail and the car and we can help you.....
