Default slow seape/leak from cam seal on B18C1.

Hey all...

... I have a gsr swapped into my '00 em1, and I have a very slow leak from the cam seal. The guy I got the motor from put in a BDL cam seal in. It is not leaking bad enough to "lose" oil, but it is enough to dirty the side of the motor a little every after a few days. Not enough to cause smoke or a bad smell though.

Should I call up honda and just order a factory one, or take this one out and reinstall it with some "honda-bond"??

Any thoughts/suggestions?

thanks again for the help, everyone.

While I'm doing the cam seal, should I go ahead and pick up a vavle cover gasket/gromit kit and swap those out??

I just figured, the cam seal, vavle cover gasket, and gromets are all not too expensive (even direct through HONDA). So, I suppose I will go order all of it and make an afternoon out of pulling, replacing, and cleaning up the bay.

Thanks for the advice.
