I have a 93 eg hatch with itr 96 spec.. When its cold it runs strong.. But when its like warm enough it starts lagging... when I press the gas pedal the reaction of the throttle was late..

I had same problem on my bro's 00 hatch with b18c5... One of his fuel injector wiries un pluged, that made it a 3 cylender. It still made power but slower.

when the engine is cold it runs strong...therefore when it goes into closed loop the problem starts. try pulling the "back up" fuse for like 15 seconds. (under hood fuse) should reset your ecu. kinda sounds like the ign timing is off

same happens to me now... My reason though is because I took off my IACV and cleaned it out.. and attemting to remove the gasket that looks like an 8, I realized it was dry rotted because when I tried pulling it, pieces of it just started falling off. I now have a small vacuum leak. It's really only affected when the car warms up. When it's cold, the engine pulls NICE but once it's warm.... DAMN IT SUCKS.. Ordered one from HONDA last week.. Week and a half I have to wait for a stupid 2 dollar TINYYYYY gasket/seal. It will be here in 2 days. Did you mess with the intake at all? Timing maybe too... but I don't think it would affect with different temps.

its possible, however a vac leak, is only dominant at lower speeds/rpms/engine loads, so @ wot, it shouldnt be as noticeable. Its gotta be fuel, I had my issue fixed, then it came back (swapped the fuel pump)

now im pretty much clueless since its been 2 years with this problem, it might be something internal.
